Editor in Chief: Dr. Nimananda Rijal

Dr. Nimananda Rijal has been working in different areas, particularly empowering youth in technical education, since 1984, He has experience in research, livelihood creation, evaluation, policy-making, strategic planning, curriculum development, and teaching on developing curriculum approaches for the master-level of students, Organizing different workshops, conducting TNA and TOT training for the different levels of government employees to the trainers, organizing CBOs, conducting a program of poverty alleviation, and Managing organizations. Project planning and experience in execution contribute to the envisioned project. His prior experiences include the preparation of a project implementation manual and book writing, the review of research papers, and teaching master's-level students curriculum making and proposal writing. His total work experience amounts to more than 35 years.

Ashok Pandey, MPH/BPH, DGH

Assistant Professor Ashok Pandey is a Young Policy Researcher at the Policy Research Institute. He was awarded various research awards, including the Mirgendra Samjhana Medical Trust Young Researcher Award 6th National Conference of Nepal. He has more than a decade of professional experience in policy research, clinical trials, and teaching, with more than two dozen national-level research reports and more than five dozen peer-reviewed research articles in various journals. He is also the recipient of the FK Norway Research Fellowship in Child Sight Foundation Global, Dhaka, Bangladesh; the Knowledge, Action, and Change Research Fellowship, UK; and the TERI Climate Change Fellowship, India. He was a working group member of the global health forum Civil 20 (C20), held in Berlin, Germany, in 2017. He has also served as a visiting professor of public health at different universities in Nepal and Bangladesh.

Ayuska Parajuli, MPH

Ayuska Parajuli is a health professional and a registered nurse with more than 5 years of experience. With her sound knowledge and experience, she has been involved in several research projects in areas of gender and intersectionality, gender equity and social inclusion (GESI), sexual and reproductive health of HIV-infected women, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), health system research focused on the community health workforce, infectious diseases of poverty, and non-communicable diseases. She has a robust skill in conducting research using qualitative and quantitative methods using an intersectional gender lens, a systematic literature review, a scoping review, participatory action research, and other participatory approaches, namely, a community dialogue approach, participatory videos, and a photovoice.

Dr. Ramanand Pandit, PhD

Dr. Ramanand Pandit is a distinguished professional in the field of public health, holding a Master's in Public Health (MPH) and a PhD in Public Health. With over two decades of invaluable experience, Dr. Pandit has established himself as a skilled, dynamic, and energetic force in the realm of public health. Dr. Pandit is not only well-versed in theoretical aspects but also brings a wealth of practical insights. His extensive knowledge, coupled with the practical wisdom gained from his more than 20 years of experience, positions Dr. Pandit as a key player in shaping and enhancing public health initiatives backing more than 3 dozen article publications in National and international journals.

 

Editorial Assistant

Puja Nepali

Puja Nepali is a recent Bachelor of Public Health graduate from Purbanchal University. She has a strong interest in public health research and hands-on experience as a Research Assistant with the Public Health Research Society Nepal, where she has contributed to literature reviews, data analysis, and report writing. Previously, she worked as a Data translator at HERD International. Puja also has field experience as an enumerator with the Central Bureau of Statistics and as a Vital Event Registrant with Budhanilkantha Municipality, where she engaged in data collection and community outreach.

Sagun Pokharel

Sagun Pokharel is a public health graduate from Kathmandu Multiple College under Purbanchal University, with practical experience in community health and strong skills in data collection and analysis. She has participated in field visits for health diagnosis and intervention in rural areas, supported anti-trafficking and child protection initiatives with Deep Nepal, and volunteered in a dengue prevention "search and destroy" campaign. Known for her leadership, communication, and organizational skills, Sagun is dedicated to health advocacy and community.

Kusum Dhungana

Kusum Dhungana is a highly dedicated, outcome-oriented public health professional with knowledge and impressive proficiencies in SPSS, Endnote, Mendeley Desktop, EpiData, and various other software. She has prior experience in various projects and research.
